Community Guidelines

Last revised June 10, 2026

Welcome to Huddle, the home of fandoms! Whether you live for a k-pop group, an anime series, a game, an artist, a team, or a universe of your own, this is the place to find your people. Fandom is at its best when it feels like a huddle: warm, welcoming, and a little bit obsessed (in the good way). These guidelines exist so every fan, from day-one veterans to people who just finished episode one, can geek out safely. They apply everywhere on Huddle: posts, comments, profiles, usernames, messages, images, and anything else you share.

Here's to celebrating the things we love, together.

— Team Huddle

Be a good fan community member

Be a good fan to other fans

Everyone's way of being a fan is valid. Casual fans, hardcore fans, new fans, fans of the "wrong" character, ship, version, or era — all welcome. Disagree about the canon all you like, but keep it about the content, never about the person. No gatekeeping, no "fake fan" tests, no dogpiling.

Respect other fandoms

Rivalries can be fun; raids, brigading, and fan wars are not. Don't organize or join pile-ons against other communities, on Huddle or anywhere else, and don't bring fights from other platforms here.

Tag your spoilers

Use spoiler tags or a clear "Spoilers" warning for recent releases, new episodes, match results, and major plot points. When in doubt, tag it. Individual communities may set their own spoiler windows — check the community's rules and follow them.

Fan-made means unofficial

Every fandom, community, and account on Huddle is created and run by fans. Unless a rights holder clearly says otherwise, nothing here is operated, sponsored, or endorsed by the artists, studios, brands, teams, or people we celebrate, and all their names, logos, and works belong to them. Celebrate freely, but keep it clearly fan-made.

Credit creators

If you share fan art, edits, fics, or other fan works that aren't yours, credit the creator and link the source where you can. Never claim someone else's work as your own, and respect creators' requests not to repost their work.

Use content warnings for heavy topics

Fandom spaces get personal sometimes, and that's okay. If a post deals with heavy themes (for example self-harm, abuse, or other distressing subject matter), add a clear content warning ("CW" or "TW") at the top so others can choose whether to engage.

Mind each other's boundaries

Be thoughtful about the questions you ask other members, and don't press if someone is hesitant or uncomfortable. Not everyone wants to share personal details, and that's their call.

Keep profiles appropriate

Usernames, profile pictures, and bios must follow these guidelines too. Keep them readable and keep them clean.

No begging or money requests

Don't solicit money, donations, gift cards, or paid follows from other members. Trading and fundraising scams hurt fans most of all, so we keep this rule strict.

Take breaks

We'd love for you to huddle as much as you like, but go touch grass sometimes. The group chat will still be here when you get back.

Not allowed on Huddle

Hate speech and hateful conduct

No content or behavior that demeans, dehumanizes, or attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other personal characteristic. This applies in every fandom, about every person, including public figures.

Harassment and bullying

No bullying, stalking, intimidation, sexual harassment, or repeated unwanted contact. This includes coordinated harassment over ships, biases, theories, or anything else, whether the target is a fellow member, a creator, or a celebrity.

Doxxing and invasions of privacy

Never share someone's private information without their consent: real names, addresses, schools, workplaces, phone numbers, private photos, or anything similar. This protects fellow fans and the people we're fans of. Tracking or publishing a celebrity's or creator's private location, travel details, accommodation, or other non-public personal information is doxxing too, and it will get you removed.

Violent threats

No threats, wishes, or encouragement of violence against anyone, ever, including "jokes". There is no fandom drama worth this, and we treat it seriously.

Trolling and disruption

Don't post inflammatory, off-topic, or bad-faith content just to provoke a reaction, derail communities, or ruin the experience for others.

Impersonation

Aliases and fan handles are great. Pretending to be another person is not. Don't impersonate other members, celebrities, creators, brands, or Huddle staff, and don't run fake accounts designed to deceive. Clearly-labelled fan accounts, parody, and roleplay are fine as long as no reasonable person would be misled. Remember that communities on Huddle are made by fans, for fans: never present your account or community as official, authorized, or affiliated with an artist, brand, team, or franchise unless it genuinely is.

Scams and fraud

No scams of any kind, including fake merch or ticket sales, photocard or collectible trading scams, fake giveaways, phishing, and pyramid or "boosting" schemes.

False reporting

Reports exist to keep people safe. Don't file false reports or mass-report someone to get them punished. It harms innocent members and undermines the system for everyone.

Attacks on accounts or the platform

Don't attempt to hack, phish, scrape, spam, or otherwise compromise other members' accounts or Huddle itself.

Content we remove

!
Zero Tolerance — Child Sexual Exploitation

Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors is banned absolutely. In fandom spaces this includes sexual or sexually suggestive content involving characters who are minors or presented as minors, whether real, illustrated, animated, or written, regardless of the character's "canon" age or the medium. It also includes grooming, sextortion, and any attempt to arrange sexual contact with a minor. Violations result in immediate, permanent bans, and where appropriate we report to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other relevant authorities.

Sexual content and nudity

Huddle is not the place for pornographic or sexually explicit content, whether real, illustrated, or written in detail. Don't share intimate images of any person without their consent, and don't create or share sexualized images or "deepfakes" of real people, including celebrities. Keep your clothes on, too.

Piracy and leaks

Support the things you love. Don't post or link to pirated content: unauthorized streams, downloads, scans, rips, or torrents of shows, films, music, games, manga, books, or other works. Don't share leaked or pre-release content, including unreleased music, episodes, scripts, or stolen private material. We respond to valid reports from rights holders and remove infringing content.

Promotion of suicide or self-harm

Never encourage, promote, or glorify suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders, and don't share graphic content related to them. Supportive conversations are welcome with appropriate content warnings, but Huddle is a community, not a crisis service. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to a mental health professional or a crisis line, such as the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) in the US, or your local equivalent. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

Terrorism and violent extremism

No promoting, glorifying, or organizing terrorism, violent extremism, or hate groups, and no using Huddle to recruit for or further such causes.

Harmful misinformation

Theories, rumors, and speculation are part of fandom, so label them as such. What's not allowed is content that misleads people in ways that can cause real harm, including dangerous health misinformation and deceptive media presented as authentic.

Illegal activity

Don't use Huddle to commit, facilitate, or promote illegal activity, including the sale of drugs, weapons, or stolen goods.

How we enforce these guidelines

Depending on severity and history, we may remove content, apply warnings, restrict features, suspend accounts, or permanently ban accounts. The most serious violations (such as child endangerment or credible threats of violence) result in immediate permanent bans and, where appropriate, reports to law enforcement. If you see something that breaks these guidelines, report it in the app or email us. If you believe we got an enforcement decision wrong, you can appeal and we'll take another look.
